The heart of your shop operations is the repair order. With our repair shop software, at a quick glance, you can see the work-in-progress in your shop. And from their, you can select the job you want to view and see the activities and parts that have been logged to the repair. Immediately, you can see the charges being made to the customer. If you have the right security access, you can also view your costs to view your profit position. If you need to place a special order for parts you don't have on stock, you can create the special order right from the same screen. Once complete, you can provide a customer proof to your customer to verify the charges before you create the final invoice to your customer.
Service Programs
If you find you're repeating the same job with the same parts, why don't you save yourself the time it takes to enter the same information by turning that activity and parts into a service program. Just highlight the activity, and click the "Service Program" button.
Pick List
Once you know what parts you need, some one needs to pick the parts. So print our a pick list to make it easier to grab all the parts at once.
Barcoded
All repair orders in our repair shop software has a barcode for each activity line. By scanning on this activity barcode, you can scan parts and scan time to this order.
Issue to Position
For warranty purposes, certain parts need to be issued to a location on the unit. In our repair shop software, to do this, click on the "Issue to Position" button.
Special Orders
If there is a non-stocking part that you need to complete this repair, you can open a PO and order the part from this screen. When the parts are received, they are issued to this repair so that you never forget to charge out the part.
Availability
From our Repair Order screen, you can see what parts you have in inventory and where it's located in your warehouse. And, you can also check the on-hand at other locations at the same time.
Mobile Technicians
All repair orders captured from our Mobile Repair Order add-on module looks exactly like the repair order that you're used to seeing. If you make changes to the same order, the Mobile Technician will pick up the change as soon as the record is refreshed on their mobile laptop.
