Repair Shop Software Time Tracking

Quality of work and efficiency of work are the main criteria that separate your technicians. And now you can track both. Some of our for-hire repair customers pay their technicians based on productivity, and this quickly separates your high performers. Technicians that love the system are the same ones that are typically the best technicians in your shop.

Repair Shop Software Time Tracking

Shift Control

When the technician starts their day, they clock into a "Start Day" code. When they end, they clock to an "End Day" code. Everything in between is either a job to job or a lunch break.

Idle Time

To keep track of idle time, you can create a repair order, which can be posted to the scan station to track things like meetings, clean up and training. This way at the end of the month, you can review your idle time.

Barcoded

With one button click, you can print a barcoded repair order. The technician can use the repair order software to scan from job to job. This gives you real time access to activity in the shop. By looking at your monitoring screen, you can see which technician is on which job. This should help tremendously when you're on the phone with a customer.

Estimates vs. Actuals

Because of real-time time tracking, you now have the capability to monitor jobs as they reach their estimates. This is vital in the shop because you can quickly help a technician if they are over their estimated time. Perhaps they found other issues on what we all thought was going to be a "simple" job. We all know that never happens.
