Can my customer invoices be customized?

Perfit can customize the invoice to look the way you want. Logos can also be displayed on the invoice printout as well. Different invoice formats can also be set per facility location.

Can I control my pricing?

EMDECS has various tools that can help the user price their work orders. There are specific activity, part or shop supply rates that can be setup and linked to specific customers. Specific cost ranges, locations or types of parts can be priced accordingly. Pricing can also be done on a promotional basis to cover temporary sales by date range.

How can I send repair order information to my customers?

All invoices and reporting from EMDECS are generated in Adobe PDF which can be easily saved and emailed to customers. EMDECS also offers a customer service access module that allows your customers to login separately to view direct information about their work orders, PMs and charge out history.

Can I use EMDECS to sell parts over the counter?

Yes you can. EMDECS offers a counter sale screen where users can enter or scan parts ordered by customers. In addition, back orders, lost sales and customer returns can be easily tracked.

Can I charge freight or environmental fees to the customers?

Yes you can. Users can setup surcharges in EMDECS and charge them out on the work order based on a flat rate, percentage of labour or parts, with a minimum or maximum amount option.

How can I control tax rates in EMDECS?

Tax rates can be set at a corporate, facility or customer based level. Taxes can be applied to either labour, parts or both.

Is there inventory analysis reporting available in EMDECS?

EMDECS has reporting on which parts produce the most income, profit margins, and turnover rates. Contrastingly, EMDECS can tell the user of all the parts below a certain profit margin as well.

How do I know if I am making profit on a certain work order?

Since time sheets and parts usage can be recorded in real-time while the work order is open, EMDECS can display running up-to-date profit/loss numbers to the manager.

Can I tell which of my employees are most profitable?

EMDECS can record an hourly cost per mechanic in the system. As a result, EMDECS can produce an employee profit margin report based on actual hours vs. charged hours to determine which employees are the most profitable.

Can I produce estimates for my customers?

Yes you can. EMDECS can generate estimates based on manually entered estimated labour hours and estimate part quantities. In addition, EMDECS offers a Quote Job feature that allows the user to specify total estimated labour and parts.
