Can I see what units I have available to rent out?

Yes you can. EMDECS has a highly visual Equipment Reservation screen that can help the user find out which users are available, reserved or already rented out.

When do I generate invoices to my customers?

It’s up to you. You can generate invoices with any cut-off date you wish. You can even generate invoices months in advance based on anniversary date of the agreement or to the end of the month.

I have large customers that want one invoice for all their units, is that doable?

Absolutely. Invoices can be consolidated to help customers receive one invoice. Optionally, all units rented out can be reconciled to one invoice cycle as well.

Can my units be rented on an hourly basis?

Yes they can. Units can be setup with a 4 hour rate that can be customized with your business’ operating hours so the system will know exactly what to charge by the hour.

What about holidays, are they considered?

Yes, we consider holidays as well. We go as far as outlining the different holidays for each country. And the billing cycle can help exclude those days from the hourly charges.

Can I offer mileage allowances to my preferred customers?

Yes you can. Reading allowances can be set for preferred customers or all customers. Allowances can be setup based on daily usage, weekly usage, monthly usage or by the entire contract.

Some of my customers would like to put a deposit down, can that be recorded?

Yes, EMDECS does have the option to record a customer’s deposit. That deposit is recorded automatically as a receipt which can be printed out for the customer.

Can I specify termination charges?

Yes, special charges or credits can be automatically applied at the start of the contract. And EMDECS will automatically remember to apply them during the termination of the contract.

Can I setup a unit on a finance lease amortization schedule?

Yes you can. You can use EMDECS to easily generate an amortization schedule for your customer’s financing needs.

Can I track insurance?

Yes you can. We can track insurance policies of each customer. That way, EMDECS will know exactly when they are about to expire for renewal, so you can contact your customers accordingly.

Can I customize my rental contract printouts?

Yes you can. By working directly with your team, we can customize a rental contract or finance lease contract printout that would meet your needs.
