There are two ways to correct your inventory on hand values. You could either do a physical count or an inventory adjustment. Physical counts are often time consuming, and an inventory adjustment is a quicker alternative. The inventory adjustment screen is useful when updating your on hand values if you know the quantity change. For example, if the on hand value for a part decreased by two, you would therefore enter a negative two to reflect this change. Another benefit that the inventory adjustment has is that you can add notes to explain why the on hand values have changed. For more information on this screen, please feel free to contact Perfit support. |

When adding a new unit to an existing PM schedule, establish an initial service date that the system can use to calculate future PM services from. Select the Detail button on the Equipment Detail screen and enter a start date in the Initial Service Readings area. If your PM schedule intervals are calculated by readings rather than dates, readings can also be entered in the Initial Service Readings area. |
